Members will be provided with a pack, which contains the following:

a piece of wadding

The quilt top can be any design, using material from your stash.

The quilt will need to be quilted, bound and labelled with the label provided.
If you wish, you can add your name on the quilt.

Special request:  please estimate the number of hours spent sewing the quilt.

Completed quilts should be brought to the meeting on 9 July.

Applying for the Grant

In early 2018 Jenny and Tineke attended an information session run by the Moorabool shire about the application process for community grants.

The committee agreed to make an application for a grant of  $950 to purchase materials to make patchwork quilts for local charities.
The application was completed and sent to the council by 31st March, 2018.

The Community Grants Program assessment process is competitive and based on merit.
Applications must meet the eligibility criteria and assessment criteria.
Applications were assessed by an assessment panel and a report with successful applications was present to council for adoption.

We were notified in December 2018 that we had been successful with our application.
